About

Annika F. Weyhrich - the mind behind Fling.

From humble beginnings hosting the "Conquers your ears..."  radio show in 2002 Annika Weyhrich has been producing, consulting and curating in the music and culture space in Germany and throughout Europe for more than 15 years.

Focused and motivated, but at the same time intuitively creative, Annika’s flair for connecting the dots/ thinking outside the box is showcased through the diverse roles and activities she pursues.

Moving on from radio Annika was working as in content programming (MTV Europe) and interview production (SLICES Electronic Beats) while hosting events in Berlin since 2005.

Familiar with working with high profile artists from her time booking Tape Club and working in freelance talent management, in 2008 Annika headed up bookings for DJ Hell and DeeJay Gigolo Records. She then spent two years at SSC Group representing talent including Azari & III, Juan MacLean, Shit Robot and Vitalic.

In 2011, she moved on to found Fling, her own creative agency focused around Public Relations, Marketing Strategy, Event Production and Artist Bookings. Fling has successfully produced and consulted projects for clients including Redbull Music Academy, Soundcloud, Goethe Institute, Adidas, X-Filme, Koch Media and Audi.

Current projects:

In May 2015 Annika was appointed the Head of Communication at the Institute of Sound and Music; a project invested in founding a museum for the preservation of sound and the contemporary exploration of electronic music in collaboration with artists such as Matthew Herbert and visual pioneers Pfadfinderei.

In 2016 Annika began to lecture at the Universität der Künste zu Berlin and is a regular guest on international panels speaking on topics of creative marketing strategies and gender equality.
